One thing I have noticed over the years as a photographer is that many people underestimate the power of a professional photograph. Sometimes a client asks about pricing and tells me that professional portraits are too expensive. Other times, few decide not to move forward, only for me to later see the photograph they are using on LinkedIn, Facebook, their business website, or professional profile. Often, it's an old photo or a cropped vacation picture. Occasionally, it's a passport-style image that doesn't truly represent who they are today. And every time I see it, I find myself thinking the same thing:
